Venta started as N.C. Raikes Ltd then rebranded to Hastings Glass Company Limited in the late 1940’s, established by the grandfather of the current owners after returning from WWII. Business in the Hawke’s Bay region was very strong in the paint, glass supply, glazing and aluminium window joinery industry.
