Our History
75 years in the making
Venta started as Hastings Glass Company Limited in the late 1940’s, established by the grandfather of the current owners after returning from WWII. Business in the Hawke’s Bay region was very strong in the glass supply, glazing and aluminium joinery industry.
After operating the business for 30 years the company was sold and new opportunities were pursued by its owners. When the company was sold in the 1970s, one of the employees at the time established Hastings Aluminium. In 1999 the Hastings Glass Company was re-established and in 2018 it joined with Hastings Aluminium, bringing the team back together again. To better bring the two brands together we founded the new Venta brand.
