Maraekakaho Residential Aluminium Windows Project
Set into the hills of Maraekakaho, this contemporary home was designed to make the most of its wide rural outlook and natural light.
Venta completed the exterior aluminium window and door package, including large areas of glazing that open the home to views in every direction. The darker joinery sits cleanly against the concrete exterior, helping frame the landscape while supporting the strong architectural form of the home.

Positioned on the side of a hill in Maraekakaho, this contemporary home was designed to make the most of the surrounding rural landscape and expansive views in every direction.
Large windows and sliding doors create a strong connection between the interior living spaces, sheltered outdoor areas and the landscape beyond. The aluminium joinery needed to support generous openings while remaining clean and understated within the architecture.
The dark frames work naturally with the concrete exterior, strong rooflines and surrounding hills, helping frame the outlook without competing with it. A carefully considered rural home built by Stead Construction, and one Venta was proud to be part of.
